TIME FOUNDATION is registered non-governmental not-for-profit organization under the Bulgarian Law on NGOs.
MISSION
To promote sustainable development, efficient management of natural resources, and environmental protection through institutional strengthening, consultancy aid, training workshops, fund-raising for environmental projects, and the facilitation of information exchanges between all levels of government, NGOs, private and state run companies, academia, and the general public, in order to foster democratic decision-making.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• To involve the public in the application of sustainable development approaches
• To raise public participation in the decision making processes on sustainable development at all levels
• To assist the authorities on national and local levels in the development of policies, strategies and programs for sustainable development
• To support the coordination and communication among stakeholders at international, national and local levels on sustainable development issues
• To promote the integration of sustainability education in the educational system in Bulgaria
• To accumulate financial means for supporting the activities of diverse groups in the filed of environmental protection and sustainable development
BORROWED NATURE (BN) is a Bulgarian environmental non-governmental organization
MISSION AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:
• raising public awareness on environmental and human development problems;
• developing a new value system based on principles of the sustainable development;
• investment in human resources through campaigns, educational projects and dissemination of information;
• bringing Bulgarian NGOs and society generally closer to the European and global standards of environmental protection, sustainable development and active civic participation;
• efficient use of material resources and energy, and change of consumption and production patterns;
• effective interaction of local citizens’ organizations with businesses and local authorities.
CENTER 21
The Center for education, culture and ecology 21 (Center 21), is a Bulgarian non-governmental organization.
MISSION
To support the process of cultural diversity and social development, education and nature protection, during a process of democratic transition, in order to strengthen universal human values and integration.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• To develop and adopt innovations, reporting actual tendencies in the educational, cultural and nature protection field for adaptive behavior forming and sustainable way of life.
• To assist the application of developed effective technologies, culture-educational projects and operational decisions in regional, national and international structures and programs.
• To realize reliable assessment, analysis and interpretation of results of innovative projects in drawing of sustainable tendencies in the field of culture, education and environment.
