From the concept to the context, Trainers guide for Education for Sustainable development
The aim of this project is to provide real opportunities that would let teachers in the first stage of the ground-level education integrate and implement education for sustainable development in the educational process.
There is an established line of experience and success stories in the sphere of ecological education but there do not exist enough conditions and sustainable capacity for the implementation of transition towards education for sustainable development.
This information package is intended for “teachers of teachers” that will train and prepare teachers who teach in the ground-level education institutions. It contains information about the program, the normative base and the curriculum opportunities (I – IV grade) how to implement education for sustainable development. The package contains also interactive methods and techniques, educational materials as well as activities for teachers’ training. This would broaden and improve their preparation for the implementation of Education for sustainable development.
